The Burgundy regional AOC is spread over the entire Burgundy vineyard and is made up of 2650 hectares, producing white wines at based on chardonnay as well as reds and rosés based on pinot noir . Varieties such as pinot blanc and pinot gris (here called pinot beurot) are also present, although very much in the minority. The wines produced are very diverse but we could describe the whites as aromatic and mineral and the reds as fine and generally evolving on a fruity light and delicate. The cuvées offered by the estates under this designation are those benefiting from the best value for money.
