The identity of Planteray is largely based on its aging process, which has become a true signature.
After an initial maturation in a tropical climate within the local distilleries, the rums are transferred to the cellars of Maison Ferrand, in Charente, where they continue their aging in former Ferrand cognac casks. This method brings greater complexity and aromatic richness, and defines the "Planteray touch".
