IGT Puglia is a protected geographical indication covering the entire Puglia region, in the south-east of Italy. It covers more than 8,000 hectares, producing 80% of red wines and 20% of white wines. The main grape varieties are Negroamaro, Primitivo, Nero di Troia and Bombino nero in red while Bianco d'Alessano, Verdeca, and Fiano represent the bulk of white production. The climate here is resolutely warm and sunny, producing wines typical of southern Italy, full of friendliness, richness and pleasure!
