Created in 1937, AOC Bourgueil is located west of Tours on the right bank of the Loire and covers 1 400 hectares of clay tufawith an oceanic climate. 96% of production is devoted to red wine, made exclusively from the grape variety cabernet-franc. Two terroirs make up the appellation: gravel (or gravel) is located near the Loire, while clay-limestone tufa is further inland. Reds are known for their delicacy and aromatic and are delicious when young. However, some cuvées express a beautiful depth and can be kept in the cellar for several years before they can be enjoyed at their peak. The Déchainée cuvée from Domaine Lamé Delisle Boucard perfectly illustrates this first type of 100% pleasure wine!
