The estate: The family farm today bearing the name Lamé Delisle Boucard was created in 1869 by Pierre Guyot. His son-in-law,  Jules Lamé, took advantage of the phylloxera crisis a few years later to develop the wine business by being one of the first winegrowers to plant vines with American rootstocks. Then, Lucien, son of Jules, married Yvonne Delisle in 1938 and from 1947, the couple decided to bottle all their production on site, a turning point in the history of the property. The name of the estate was then decided by combining the surnames of the two lovers: Lamé Delisle. Finally, it was in 1965, the date of the marriage of their daughter Maryvonne in 1965 to René Boucard, that the farm took its final name. Today, the 5th generation (Philippe and Stéphanie) is at work and watches over the 43 hectares of the property, producing excellent AOC Bourgueil vintages.
