The wine: This delicious Gevrey-Chambertin from the Naddef family comes from old vines with an average age of 60 years. Displaying great power, here is a great vintage with full and tasty flesh coated with ripe tannins giving it a beautiful structure. Deep notes of red and black fruits (cherry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry) as well as a fine oakyness mingle with intense spices expressing all the thanks to Pinot noir. A great wine to drink with a few years of hindsight in order to fully benefit from its complexity!

The estate: Taking over the 2.5 hectares in 1983 from his grandfather, Philippe Naddef brilliantly managed his own estate for 39 years. Since 2022, it is in fact his son, Michel, who has taken over and is now at the head of the 6 hectares (5 of Pinot noir and 1 of Chardonnay) planted in different appellations such as Marsannay, Fixin or Gevrey-Chambertin. Several of the family's plots are classified Premier Cru and the Naddefs also have a few rows of vines within the famous Grand Cru Mazis-Chambertin.
