The wine: This succulent Rhône blend matured for 14 months partly in oak barrels offers a superb aromatic richness! Intense and harmonious, the latter develops notes of black and red fruits (strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant) accompanied by elegant spices (pepper, cloves, garrigue). A touch of balsam gives the whole nice overall complexity. A wine that can be drunk now but will improve after a few years in the cellar. At this price point, it's a real bargain!

The Estate: Perdrix-Lasouche is a small, quality family estate located in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, not far from Nîmes and the Camargue. Composed of only 6.5 hectares evolving on clay-limestone, stony and alluvial soils, the estate is located in the Gard and offers very fine wines, mainly from the young young appellation Duché D'Uzès. The vineyard is currently being converted to organic farming and is located in the middle of scrubland and olive trees, favoring the existence of great biodiversity. The cuvées proposed by Cécile and Fréderic express the great investment of the couple in the vineyard as well as in the winemaking and all enjoy a very good level. An area to watch closely!
