The wine: Thisthis superb cuvée from Château Simone is probably one of the very best red wines of Provence! Structured and powerful, here is a large bottle offering an aromatic palette evolving on intense and deep black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, plum) complemented by delicious fragrant spices (pepper, garrigue, licorice, eucalyptus) as well as a woody touch of very fine accuracy. A very great wine of gastronomycapable of maturing for more than 15 years in the cellar and which will delight connoisseurs with its t2>high complexity!

The estate: With its heritage of old vines that are centuries old, the Rougier family is at the head of what is certainly the most famous cru of the small Palette appellation. Nestled on the Langesse limestone, just outside Aix-en-Provence, Château Simone is best known for its white wine. Yetthe red and rosé cuvées are also superb Southern references with great precision. 25 hectares and a wide variety of grape varieties are cultivated and vinified brilliantly by the family.
