Located in Mâconnais, south of the Bourgogne wine region, AOC Saint-Véran spans almost 750 hectares and produces only white wines made from Chardonnay. Touching Pouilly-Fuissé, the appellation extends over rather steep clay-limestone lands and offers cuvées with a profile that is generally quite round and greedy but often endowed with a beautiful minerality balancing the whole. It is also an area offering good value for money for Burgundy, as is the case here with the Domaine Bodillard.
