The appellation Nuits-Saint-Georges is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits to which it has given its name. The AOC covers more than 300 hectares of which 45% are classified as Premier Cru (41 climates). The area produces almost exclusively red wines made from the Pinot Noir grape variety, producing cuvées recognized for their magnificent fragrance as well as their distinguished aromatic and elegant. The terroir of the appellation can be divided into two parts: an area to the north with soils made up of gravel and silt, while the terroir to the south is more marly and chalky.
