With 1,100 hectares, the AOC Morgon is the largest vintage in the Beaujolais region. Mont du Py sits at the top of this appellation, which offers wines with "the fruit of a Beaujolais and the charm of a Bourgogne" as we like to say here. Growing on granitic and schistous soils, the vines are mainly planted around 300m in altitude and probably produce the Gamaythe most powerful and with the finest guarding abilitiesin the region.
