The AOC Fixin is located just north of the Burgundian vineyard, within the Côte de Nuits and in the extension of the appellation Marsannay. It is made up of 100 hectares, almost all of Pinot Noir, of which 18 hectares are classified Premier Cru (6 climates). the vines are often located at a slight altitude between 100m and 300m and the soils are clay-limestone. Pinot noir and chardonnay are the only authorized grape varieties here. The wines produced are generally ofvery good value for money in the region and can express a lot of finesse even if some cuvées are particularly racy and of character, deserving to be left in the cellar.
