Here is a Morgon with character with a very nice aromatic depth and constituting excellent value for money !

The estate: Winegrower for 7 generations, the Bodillard family today has 14 hectares spread over 7 towns between Beaujolais and Mâconnais. Some vintages are already certified in Organic Agriculture and all will be in the years to come. The diversity of the plots allows the estate to cover a great diversity of soils (granite sands, schists etc.) and therefore to produce wines with varied characters. The plots are 95% south-facing and the vinification of the reds is Beaujolaise (carbonic maceration) to bring out bright fruit. Renaud Bodillard offers vintages with simple, easy-drinking fruit but also deep and complex wines capable of keeping for several years, even decades, in the cellar.
