The wine: Located just above the famous climat "Les Amoureuses " within the sensual Chambolle-Musigny appellation, this 1er Cru “Les Borniques” offers exquisite substance of great elegance and suave tannins. Particularly "feminine", it exudes floral scents (violet, peony), pretty fine and concentrated fruits (raspberry, black cherry) as well as sweet spicy notes. A certain minerality is also present and gives this vintage a captivating balance. All the magic of Chambolle-Musigny in one bottle!

The estate: Frédéric represents the 5th generation of the Magnien family. Starting his studies in 1987 on his father's estate (Michel Magnien), he then embarked for California and then Australia to perfect his knowledge and continue his learning. In 1996, the turning point was: he created his own company and became a wine merchant. Since then, he and his team have taken care of carefully chosen plots within multiple Burgundian AOCs, the vast majority of which have been certified organic since 2008. His work is today recognized by tasters and praised by the specialist press.
