The wine: The vintage Les Galets from the Domaine des Hauts Châssis is a delicious wine of terroir  that wonderfully embodies this brilliant appellation that is Crozes-Hermitage. Presenting seductive notes of black fruits (cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, plum) as well as very fine tannins, this beautiful bottle also offers aromas of white pepper and dried herbs (rosemary, thyme) which we delight in tasting. Different pairings are possible here, such as with a charcuterie board, a chicken garnished with new potatoes or even a nice rib of beef. A real favorite!

The estate: The Domaine des Hauts Châssis is a property of 17 hectares located in the heart located to the south of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. Here, the terroir is mainly composed of rolled stones and the harvest is always done manually. The passionate and warm Franck Faugier took over the family property in 1998 and took it out of the cooperative system to produce his first vintage in 2003. Since 2017, all the wines have been certified organic. The latter express themselves on fruit, spices and always with freshness and elegance. An operation that is still too little known and which is worth the detour!
