Wine: The Mittnacht Frères estate offers us here a very gourmet, mellow Gewurztraminer with a perfect balance ! The sweetness is indeed very fair and we enjoy these delicious notes of exotic fruits pulling towards lychee, mango or even pineapple. A touch of honey as well as a subtle spicy note blend in and a nice minerality balances it all out. Go for it without hesitation on this cuvée which will go wonderfully with foie gras, spicy Asian cuisine or even with desserts!

The estate: Slocated in the village of Hunawihr, between Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, the mittnacht frères estate extends over 11 hectares cultivated with passion by Marc, his wife Paule and their son André who joined them in the vineyard in 2021. The vines are here grown biodynamically since 1999 in order to produce local wines that are faithful to their environment. The magnificent winemaking work carried out by the siblings only highlights, year after year, high quality plant material and constant attention to the vineyard. Purity, elegance and petrol notes are the common markers of Rieslings, while excellent Gewurztraminer, Sylvaner and even Pinot Noir are also grown. Go for it, you won't be disappointed!
