The wine: Les Graves is a drinkable and juicy cuvée expressing itself with a very nice intensity on the fresh red and black fruits (raspberry, strawberry, blackberry etc.). The tasting is a great pleasure thanks to this purity of fruit expressed in all the cuvées of the Gasnier family. A real beautiful, drinkable Chinon with character, ideal as an aperitif on a charcuterie board or during a meal with poultry and red meat.

The domain : Located in Cravant-les-Côteaux, in the heart of one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Chinon appellation, Fabrice Gasnier has been at the head of the estate since 1990, which has belonged to his family since the beginning of the 20th century. Covering 35 hectares of clay-limestone, siliceous and gravel soils, all the cuvées have been certified in Biodynamic Agriculture (Demeter) since 2008. More than 90% of the production is dedicated to reds with Cabernet-franc as the only grape variety. The harvest is manual and the vinification is mainly carried out in concrete vats with some aging in oak barrels. The purity and depth of the fruit of the family's wines prove the impeccable management of the estate's vines, producing extremely healthy grapes.
