Wine: Here is a Bordeaux white wine as we would like to come across more often in the region! Composed of equal parts of Sémillon and Sauvignon with a touch of Muscadelle, this gourmet bottle reveals itself with a beautiful maturity on the palate with delicious fruity notes and floral of peach, apricot and honeysuckle. The latter go perfectly with the delicious vanilla touch brought by aging in barrels, also giving a beautiful roundness to the whole. A excellent value for money proving that in Bordeaux, good wines are not only red!

The estate: Viticulturist in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family owns the domaine Saransot-Dupré since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the end of the 80s .The 17 hectare property is planted with 90% red and mostly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the vinification is traditional (concrete vats then aging in barrels with a proportion of 25 to 30% new barrels). Yves Raymond creates elegant, fine wines with great aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines at excellent value for money!
