The Estate: The Château Lagrange is one of the iconic references of the Saint-Julien appellation. Its origins are very old and it was the Order of the Templars who initiated the wine-growing activity of the property. The exploitation will know a real golden age in the XVIIIth century and will reach the title of 3^th Cru Classé during the Official Classification of 1855. In 1983, the Japanese group Suntory bought the exploitation of 118 hectares and launches a major renovation and investment program that will now allow the wines of the property to be part of the Médoc elite and to experience exemplary quality consistency.
