The Estate: The Château Lagrange is one of the iconic references of the Saint-Julien appellation. Its origins are very old and it was the Order of the Templars who initiated the wine-growing activity of the property. The exploitation will know a real golden age in the XVIIIth century and will reach the title of 3th Cru Classé during the Official Classification of 1855. In 1983, the Japanese group Suntory bought the exploitation of 118 hectares and launches a major renovation and investment program that will now allow the wines of the property to be part of the Médoc elite and to experience exemplary quality consistency.
