The wine : The Grand Vin of Château Bel-Air La Royère impresses by its aromatic richness as well as its correctness of balance. voluptuous notes of black fruits (blackcurrant, plum, blackberry etc.) appear on the palate, accompanied by mild spices (pepper, cloves, licorice etc.) and highlighted by a very charming woodiness evoking vanilla with a lot of gourmandity. The tasting ends with a very nice length. A high-end vintage with excellent value for money and which goes wonderfully with red meats!

The estate: Taken over in 1992 by the Chevrier family, the Château Bel-Air La Royère consists of 14 hectares and has been managed since 2011 by Corinne. The soils of the property are clay-limestone and the vineyard has been entirely certified organic since the 2019 vintage. A large proportion of Malbec (30% of the grape variety) constitutes the signature of the property. The estate is part of the elite AOC Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux and is capable of composing pleasure vintages as well as high-quality wines for keeping. A very pretty family vineyard to discover and show off!
