Wine: Anthocyanin is THE great wine red from the Fleuriet estate! This Pinot Noir with character comes from the family's old vines and is a real gem of substance and concentration! Here is indeed a cuvée offering a delicious balance oscillating between an intense and deep fruitiness (black cherry, velvety blackberry) as well aselegant notes of aging (toast, vanilla, woody). A Sancerre that could easily be confused with a Burgundian pinot noir blind and which will go perfectly with poultry and red meats!

The estate: Located in Menetou-Râtel, just near Sancerre, the Domaine Fleuriet is managed by Bernard, the patriarch, as well as his sons Mathieu and Benoit. With great good-naturedness and an extraordinary sense of hospitality, the two brothers and their father produce magnificent wines in which the terroir expresses itself with great clarity. Covering 30 hectares (mainly in AOC Sancerre but also in AOC Menetou-Salon), Sauvignon reigns supreme here, accompanied by Pinot Noir for the reds and rosés. The estate has been certified in Organic Agriculture since 2016 and Demeter (biodynamic) since 2021. The vinification is done with the minimum possible intervention in order to let the terroir express itself (indigenous yeasts, minimal use of sulphur, etc.). The estate's range is varied and all the cuvées have their own identity. The only common point: the quality of the wines!
