Purchase of Domaine de Piéblanc wines

Located in Caromb, northeast of Avignon and at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the Domaine de Piéblanc was created in 2014 by Matthieu Ponson. From 7 hectares at the time, the vineyard today consists of 38, divided between the AOC Beaumes-de-Venise (15 hectares) , Ventoux (10 hectares), Côtes-du-Rhône (7 hectares) and Gigondas (6 hectares). Many plots are located at an altitude of around 300m, favoring the expression of a beautiful freshness in the cuvées produced. Since the 2020 vintage, and after a 3-year conversation, the wines are officially certified organic. The charming and elegant cuvées of the estate are mainly produced from the Grenache grape varieties (majority in the grape variety), Syrah, Cinsault and Carignan. The soil here is clay-limestone with many shades depending on the plot (blue marls, conglomerates, alluvium, etc.). It should be noted that the property also has several hundred olive trees, allowing the production of a delicious olive oil. A booming young estate that is absolutely worth the detour!
