With its 1,200 hectares, Brouilly is the largest and most southerly cru of the 12 present in the Beaujolais region. The terroir of the area is mainly composed of granites as well as gravel, sand and clay. The AOC has been recognized since 1938 and expresses wines with a fruity that is generally light, drinkable and with succulent mineral notes. thanks to its one and only authorized grape variety: Gamay.
