Located in the town of Hunawihr a few kilometers north of Colmar, the Mittnacht Frères estate was created in 1963 by brothers André and Louis Mittnacht. After more than two decades of hard work to reveal their magnificent Alsatian terroirs, in 1985 they handed over management of the estate to their respective sons Marc and Christophe . Today, Christophe has created his own vineyard and Marc therefore takes care with his son André as well as his wife Paule of the 11 hectares of Riesling , Gewurztraminer , Pinot noir and other typically Alsatian grape varieties present on the farm. The whole has been grown biodynamically since 1999 and the very precise work of the family in winemaking allows the production of wines expressing great purity and real elegance .
