The spirit: Distilled by Travelers Distillers in Belize, this beautiful aromatic rum is a blend very precise based on local molasses having aged for minimum 3 years in oak barrels. Then, in order to soften the tannins as well as to gain roundness and for aromatic richness, a refining of a few months is then carried out at Château du Breuil in American oak barrels having contained Cognac. No sweetener is added to obtain a makeup-free product with very beautiful roundness and great exotic elegance: pineapple, banana, spices (cinnamon, vanilla), raisin and white flowers make up its delicious aroma. A very charming and very tasty rum which is unanimously acclaimed!

The brand: Built at the beginning of the 16th century, the Château du Breuil is a place steeped in history. Indeed, since the French Revolution, several owners have succeeded one another and different economic activities have taken over the place: linen spinning, cheese factory, chocolate factory, cider factory, etc. However, it is indeed a Calvados distillery which has occupied the premises since 1954. The property today has 42 hectares on which more than 800 varieties of apples grow (sweet, bitter, bittersweet, sour). After belonging to the Swiss Diwisa group for around thirty years, the company returned to the French flag in April 2020 and extended its activity to other spirits: whiskeys (distilled on site) and rums (refined on site) make now part of the range and are of a superb standard.
