The estate: San Marzano is a cooperative of Puglia created in the city of the same name in 1962 by 19 local producers who came together to promote their terroir. The latter has now become one of the most important cellars in the region with 1,200 producer-collaborators for an area of approximately 1,500 hectares of vines. Francesco Cavallo has been its President since 1982 and has been able to accompany the great change towards the quality of the wine sector in the region by modernizing the organization of the cooperative society and by investing in a young, dynamic and ambitious team.
