The estate:Rruling over 15 hectares of certified organic Chenin since the 2003 vintage, the Pinon family comes from a long winegrowing tradition since their link to the vineyard dates back to 1786! Julien represents the 8th generation and is today at the head of this benchmark operation in Vouvray. The plots of the estate have varied exposures and a large part of the vines are over 40 years old. The whites are vinified in oak barrels on fine lees for 4 to 5 months while the sparkling wines undergo long aging on slats, making it possible to produce very qualitative cuvées. Interventionism is minimal at all stages of production to be as close as possible to the terroir. A family offering delicious chenins that you will love!
