The wine: Formerly called "Au Buchot", this cuvée recently changed its name to formalize its new official and deserved status of Premier Cru on the AOC Pouilly-Fuissé. Offering an excellent balance between finesse and indulgence, this delicious Chardonnay evolves into gourmet fruity aromas (peach, pear, citrus, mirabelle plum) complemented by a woody note bringing a beautiful roundness buttery as well as a delicious touch of vanilla. The whole is underlined by a fine mineral weft. Appreciable from now on, this Great Burgundian Wine will be able to evolve positively over more than 10 years. A great treat with finesse for amateurs!

The domain: Located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the cheveau domain extends over 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour. Nicolas, Julien and Aurélie lead their vines with great care, allowing a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is manual and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, tuns or stainless steel vats. Inputs are kept to a minimum so that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A large estate offering excellent wines of constant quality!
