The wine: The white Bandol from Domaine Tempier is a delight of complexity ! Imbued with a great minerality, the aromatics of this beautiful wine extend over notes of lime, grapefruit, peach, pear but also on spices very fragrant like bay leaf or white pepper. A superb richness that makes this cuvée one of the very best of its appellation! magical pairings can be made here with shellfish, fish or fresh cheeses.

The Estate: If the Tempier Estate already existed under the reign of Louis XV, it is today the Peyraud family who is at the head of this property having risen to the top of the Bandol appellation. Best known for its rosés, this AOC also produces superb reds and whites. Daniel Ravier, the current director of the estate produces superb cuvées of all colors thanks to an exceptional heritage of very old vines of Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault and Grenache. With its 60 hectares (including 5 dedicated to the production of whites), Tempier is today THE house of reference in Bandol.
