Wine: Located mid-slope on the border between Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, this 1er Cru with clay-limestone soil gives the best of itself in this cuvée from the Michelot family. The balance is charming between ripe citrus fruits, white fruits, hazelnut, vanilla and a delicious buttery texture. A nectar that nevertheless retains great digestibility thanks to fine mineral notes. Meursault in all its glory!

The estate: Pfamily property for 6 generations now, the Domaine Michelot comprises 19 hectares, almost all of which is located in AOC Meursault. It is today Nicolas Mestre who is at the head of this reference house with an important terroir of prestigious premier crus. While all the wines are aged in oak barrels for approximately 1 year, few new barrels are used so as not to excessively mark the wines with wood and to preserve beautiful balance with the fruit. The Mestre family offers us a range of great wines enjoying a very high level and great quality consistency.
