The wine: Signature is a plot cuvée made from old vines over 70 years old offering a Cabernet-franc concentrated and endowed with a silky texture. The palate develops into intense black fruits, beautiful spices and has a nice amplitude as well as great length . A beautiful Loire bottle with an appreciable character in its youth but also capable of improving for more than 10 years in the cellar!

The estate : Located in Cravant-les-Côteaux, in the heart of one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Chinon appellation, Fabrice Gasnier has been at the head of the eponymous estate since 1990, belonging to his family since the beginning of the 20th century. Covering 35 hectares of clay-limestone, siliceous and gravel soils, all the cuvées have been certified in Biodynamic Agriculture (Demeter) since 2008. More than 90% of the production is dedicated to reds with Cabernet-franc as the only grape variety. The harvest is manual and the vinification is mainly carried out in concrete vats with some aging in oak barrels. The purity and depth of the fruit of the family's wines prove the impeccable management of the estate's vines, producing extremely healthy grapes.
