Wine: Located on the heights of Savigny-Lès-Beaune, the place called "Les Champlains" is characterized by poor and very stony soil. The exposure here is very sunny and allows the Decelle & Fils estate to produce this delicious Hautes-Côtes de Beaune white perfectly balanced between freshness, minerality and a delicacy brought by the aging carried out partly in barrels. Aromas of hawthorn and peach blend with a woody note bringing beautiful texture as well as buttery and vanilla notes. A nice liveliness in the mouth makes the whole very delicate and harmonious. A cuvée that will go perfectly with seafood, shellfish and fish!

The Estate: Founded in 2009 by Olivier Decelle (Mas Amiel in Languedoc, Vineyard of Boisseyt in le Rhône, Château Jean-Faure in Saint-Émilion) and Pierre-Jean Villa (a famous winemaker from the north of the Rhône Valley), the estate was initially called Decelle-Villa. Following the latter's departure in 2020, the business changed its name to become Decelle & Fils. Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the house now has 7 hectares grown organically on the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The twenty cuvées produced from the different appellations perfectly express the diversity of character of the Burgundian terroirs and climates.
