The wine: This Pouilly-Fuissé "Les Vignes du Hameau" has a very nice power aromatic. Its profile turns resolutely towards gourmandise with its vanilla notes coated in a beautiful woodiness. Pretty aromas fruity are also present, focusing on citrus fruits but mainly on peach, pear and mirabelle plum. Perfectly appreciable from now on, this cuvée will also know how to evolve positively over 10 years. To pair with a cheese platter or with fish in butter sauce, a treat!

The domain: Located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, the cheveau domain extends over 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour. Nicolas, Julien and Aurélie manage their vines with great care, allowing a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is manual and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, tuns or stainless steel vats. Inputs are kept to a minimum so that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A large estate offering excellent wines of constant quality!
