The wine:Here is a very nice Chardonnay from Beaujolais without added sulfur! Endowed with a beautiful vivacity, the cuvée "Les Pouliches" is the latest born from the Cheveau estate. Perfectly crafted, it is expressed on tender citrus notes (lemon, grapefruit), peach and pear, but is also traversed by a delicious mineral undertone. A treat of great precision and finesse which is sufficient in itself as an aperitif but which will also go perfectly with salads, seafood and fish.

The estate: Located in the heart of the appellation Pouilly-Fuissé, the Domaine Cheveau extends over 20 hectares (15 of Chardonnay and 5 of Gamay) spread between Davayé and Saint-Amour. Nicolas, Julien and Aurélie manage their vines with great care, allowing a precise expression of the terroirs in each of their cuvées. The harvest is manual and each plot is vinified separately in demi-muids, tuns or stainless steel vats. Inputs are kept to a minimumso that each bottle is the truest expression of its origin. A large estate offering excellent wines of constant quality!
