Wine: Cuvée Anne-Sophie is a very beautiful Roussette from the Quénard estate offering a gourmet and brioche supported by pretty notes of citrus fruits and white fruits (lemon, peach, pear). The natural acidity of the Highness grape variety is here perfectly tamed by aging for 18 months, including 12 on lees in oak barrels, in order to bring a pretty fat in the mouth. A beautiful Savoyard favourite that will go perfectly with your aperitifs, scallops or a pretty fish!

The estate: While Quénard are numerous in the village of Chignin, the wines of Jean-François and his daughter Anne-Sophie are easily distinguished by their quality. Of a total of almost 18 hectares, 12 are planted with white grapes (notably Jacquère and Roussanne) and just over 5 with red (Mondeuse, Gamay, Pinot noir, Persan). The whole is in the process of being converted to organic farming and the vinification of the cuvées is very minimalist at the estate in order to let all the terroir express itself. Thus, the yeasts used are indigenous and the sulfur is used very sparingly. Discover this beautiful Savoyard estate which will take you on a journey through their different quality cuvées!
