The estate: Since 1890, the family Illuminati cultivates vines in the Abruzzo region. It all started with Nicola Illuminati. Then, in the 1950s, Dino Illuminati decided to produce his own wine in order to better promote his terroirs. Today it is Stefano, accompanied by his brother Lorenzo, who are at the head of the exploitation based in Controguerra. Covering 130 hectares located 320 meters above sea level, their plots of vines are located on the hills of the region, from where you can see the Adriatic Sea.
