The wine: This second cuvée in white from the illustrious Château Smith Haut Lafitte is a real hit of heart ! Composed of 100% Sauvignon, it is distinguished by a beautiful richness and is carried by an enveloping and creamy texture. The aromatic is complex and develops on peach, white and yellow fruits, vanilla as well as a magnificent woody touch. A great gourmet white wine and complex with a very nice length.

The domain: Daniel and Florence Cathiard reign over this absolute reference of Pessac -Léognan which is the Château Smith Haut Lafitte since 1990. Today at the head of 78 hectares (67 ha in red, 11 ha in white), the couple left of an almost abandoned vineyard to hoist their terroir within the Bordeaux elite. Although organic certification was officially obtained in 2019, it has now been more than a decade that the cultivation method has been resolutely oriented towards biodynamic practices. The estate's wines are close to the heights of world viticulture and are an absolute delight at each tasting.
