Wine: The Fantastic cuvée from Château Sainte-Marguerite is a hit of course one of the great rosés of Provence! Its body is deliciously sweet but perfectly balanced by a beautiful vivacityand its aromatics evolve into a fruity note of great delicacy expressing subtle notes of citrus, peach, pear, apricot but also a floral touch with rose and white flowers. The Estate: The Family Fayard bought the Château Sainte-Marguerite on a whim in 1977: the quality of the plant material, the Mediterranean climate as well as the soils essentially composed of altered clay and shale were a real crush on Jean-Pierre Fayard and his wife. At the time of only 11 hectares, this superb Provençal estate today consists of a heritage of 75 hectares of vines. This Cru Classé de Provence has since come a long way and has great ambitions. The completion in March 2020 of a superb brand new cellar is proof of this. Certified Organic and Vegan, the property offers a magnificent high-level range that does honor to Provence: rosés but also reds and whites are up to the ambitions set by the family.
