Key words: Black fruits / Purity / Minerality
The wine: The name of this cuvée illustrates the chalky soils of the plots that allowed the realization of this beautiful Malbec evolving with finesse and elegance. We find here the touch of the Croisille family with beautiful charming black fruits (cherry, plum, blackberry) and delicious supple tannins making the whole very digestible. A nice complexity emanates from this bottle thanks to notes of graphite as well as a beautiful minerality. An excellent Cahors full of freshness and delicacy.

The domain : In 1979, Bernard and Cécile Croisille arrive in the town of Luzech, very close to Cahors, without any technical background but with a devouring passion for the land and a life project. After difficult first years of planting and clearing their 7 hectares, the first harvest of 1984 finally arrived. Initially invested in the cooperative system, the couple decided 10 years later to vinify their own cuvées. In 2000, a brand new cellar was built and things accelerated when Germain, their second son, joined them at the estate. Then, Nicolas, Germain's childhood friend, also joined the farm in 2012. In 2013, the estate was officially converted to organic farming and in 2015 it was finally it was the turn of Simon, the last of the Croisille siblings, to join the family adventure in 2015. In recent years, the wines have continued to gain in precision and the Croisilles now have of about thirty hectares allowing them to offer a fine range of wines ranging from cuvées for pleasure to complex and refined Cahors.
