Wine: Chez Les Béroux is a Chignin-Bergeron very greedy highlighting the charming characteristics of the Roussanne grape variety. On the nose, beautiful fruity aromas emerge and a certain roundness can be perceived. The palate agrees with notes of ripe fruit (peach, apricot, pear, green apple, citrus) underlined by a hint of minerality as well as a touch of butter. The tasting ends with a very nice length. Another fully successful cuvée from the Quénard family!

The estate: While Quénard are numerous in the village of Chignin, the wines of Jean-François and his daughter Anne-Sophie are easily distinguished by their quality. Out of a total of almost 18 hectares, 12 are planted with white grapes (notably Jacquère and Roussanne) and just over 5 with red (Mondeuse, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Persan). The whole is in the process of being converted to organic farming and the vinification of the cuvées is very minimalist at the estate in order to let all the terroir express itself. Thus, the yeasts used are indigenous and the sulfur is used very sparingly. Discover this beautiful Savoyard estate that will take you on a journey through their different quality cuvées !
