Irish Whiskeys Waterford

Waterford is a real revolution in the world of whisky! Created in 2016 by Mark Reynier, the distillery has in fact completely turned the codes of the sector upside down with a simple desire: to put barley back at the heart of whisky and to offer a full transparency and traceability to their customers. By buying a bottle, you therefore have access to multiple information such as the origin of the barley used (always Irish), the date of distillation of your whiskey, the duration of its aging, the types of barrels used, etc. Waterford's originality also lies in the fact that the barley used only comes from local farmsand is monitored in a parcel manner by identifying very specific terroirs. The cuvées produced are therefore mostly Single Farm Origin, i.e. whiskeys made with barley from a single farm with the aim of bringing out a specific terroir. A unique vision in the sector and providing a stunning tasting experience. Mark Reynier even pushes the analogy with the world of wine to the realization of certain Single Malt whiskeys in organic and biodynamic agriculture!
