Alexandre Gabriel is the man to whom we owe the creation and success of rums Plantation. When he joined Maison Ferrand in the 1980s, the company then specialized solely in the production of renowned cognacs. Thanks to him, the company's know-how will gradually open up to other spirits. Thus, he will scour the Caribbean in the 1990s, in search of the best rums. Fifteen years later, the Plantation range is a great success and brilliantly reveals the Caribbean terroirs.
