The Gevrey-Chambertin AOC is one of the best-known in all Burgundy wine-growing regions. Located in Côte-de-Nuits, it is spread over more than 400 hectares, producing exclusively red wines made from the Pinot Noir. The soils of the appellation are clay-limestone with a clayey tendency and produce one of the most structured and powerful wines in the region. You often have to wait to open a bottle of Gevrey at full maturity! On this vineyard, 80 hectares (26 climates) are classified as Premiers Crus and 9 Grands Crus are present.
