The wine: This succulent Rhone blend aged for 14 months partly in oak barrels offer a superb aromatic richness! Intense and harmonious, the latter evolves with notes of black and red fruits (strawberry, blackberry, blackcurrant) accompanied by elegant spices (pepper, cloves, garrigue). A touch of balsame gives the whole thing a beautiful overall complexity. A wine that can be drunk now but which will improve after a few years in the cellar. At this price point, it's a real deal!

The estate: Perdrix-Lasouche is a small, quality family estate located in the heart of the southern Rhône Valley, not far from Nîmes and the Camargue. Made up of only 6.5 hectares growing on clay-limestone, stony and alluvial terroirs, the estate is located in the Gard and offers very beautiful wines, mainly from the young young Duchy of Uzès appellation. The vineyard is currently being converted to organic farming and is located in the middle of scrubland and olive trees, favoring the existence of great biodiversity. The vintages offered by Cécile and Fréderic express the couple's great investment in the vineyard and in winemaking and all enjoy a very nice level. An area to watch closely!
