Today at the head of 4 estates spread over the best appellations of the Côte de Beaune and the Côte Chalonnaise, Francine Picard, daughter of Michel Picard, created at the end of the 2000s the property, choosing this curious name in reference to the location of the estate, located at the foot of the famous hill of Montrachet (also nicknamed Mont Chauve). With 35 hectares including many Premiers Crus in Chassagne and mythical Grands Crus on the hill of Corton , the estate benefits from a magnificent heritage of vines to reveal these exceptional terroirs thanks to precise vinification carried out on a piece-by-plot basis. In a few years of existence and thanks to the great experience of the Picards, Au Pied du Mont Chauve has already established itself among the very best areas in the region and amateurs are not mistaken !
