The Perrin family has been at the helm of the Château de Beaucastel for over a century (since 1909), and it is currently under the direction of Jean-Pierre and François Perrin that the estate shines with its wines in France and around the world. The estate is indeed now undoubtedly among the very best producers of the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape as the quality of the wines produced reaches peaks of finesse and complexity. The 100 hectares are mostly on rolled pebble soils and allow for the production of 4 cuvées: two reds and two whites, grandiose and of long aging potential.The vines have been managed using organic farming methods since 1964, and Mourvèdre plays an important role in the creation of the estate's reds, although all 13 grape varieties of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation are planted here.
