The wine: The rosé from the Tempier estate is a reference on the AOC Bandol. Of a very generous nature and typical of Mourvèdre, the palate is juicy and gourmet, displaying seductive fruits reminiscent of strawberries, very ripe raspberries and the Peach. Full of roundness, the palate is also dotted with spices with pretty peppery and mentholated notes which contribute to the overall complexity. A delicious rosé from gastronomy!

The estate: Piconic property of Provence, the domaine Tempier is one of the pioneers who allowed the creation of the Bandol appellation in 1941. The Peyraud family and Daniel Ravier, the director of the property, make the most of their 60 hectares, composed of Mourvèdre (more than 40 hectares) but also Grenache noir, Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah. The 5 hectares of white are distributed between the varieties Clairette (65%), Ugni blanc, Bourboulenc, Marsanne and Rolle. The estate has an exceptional heritage of very old vines allowing the production of three iconic vintages: La Migoua, La Tourtine, and Cabassaou. Red wines, as well as rosés and whites, are impressively consistent in their quality and deserve the full attention of wine lovers.
