The wine: Here is a Bordeaux white wine like we would like to come across more often in the region! Composed of equal parts Sémillon and Sauvignon with a touch of Muscadelle, this gourmand bottle reveals itself with a beautiful maturity in the mouth with delicious fruity notes and floral of peach, apricot and honeysuckle. The latter combine perfectly with the delicious vanilla touch brought by the aging in barrels, also giving a beautiful roundness to the whole. An excellent value for money proving that in Bordeaux, good wines are not just red in color!

The estate: Winegrower in Listrac since 1756, the Raymond family owns the Saransot-Dupré estate since 1875. The very pleasant and communicative Yves Raymond (5th generation) has been at the head of this beautiful Cru Bourgeois Supérieur since the end of the 80s The 17 hectare property is 90% planted with red and mainly Merlot. The soils are clay-limestone and the vinification is traditional (concrete vats then aging in barrels with a proportion of 25 to 30% new barrels). Yves Raymond creates elegant, fine wines with good aging potential. A beautiful quality estate offering wines with excellent value for money!
