The estate: The house Charles Heidsieck is born in 1851 following the departure of Charles-Camille from the family business (Piper-Heidsieck) in order to create his own structure. Driven by quality, he will be one of the great precursors on the American market and will brilliantly develop great sparkling wines of character. The property remained in the family until the 1960s before coming under the control of the Cointreau group in the 1980s. Since 2010, the house has undergone a sublime revival thanks to the Descours family and has probably never been in better shape. With its own chalk quarries and 85 hectares of its own, the brand can continue to aim high.
