Former agricultural worker, François Merlin has been running his own farm since 1989. It is located a short distance from the legendary Château Grillet and spans 10 hectares of gneiss, sand, and granite soils. Since joined by his son Laurent, the family produces magnificent wines in the finest appellations of the northern Rhône Valley : Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, and Saint-Joseph.
