Former agricultural worker, François Merlin has been at the head of his own farm since 1989. The latter is located a stone's throw from the legendary Château Grillet and covers 10 hectares with soils of gneiss, sand and granite. Since joined by his son Laurent, the family has produced magnificent wines on the most beautiful appellations of the Rhône Valley north: Côte Roasted, Condrieu and Saint-Joseph.
